Italy
We hope that while you’re in Italy you’ll get to experience more of the country.
Emilia-Romagna
Emilia-Romagna, as every region, is regarded as having the best food in Italy. Try Crescentina Modenese (Tigelle) with Pesto Modenese, small round breads served fresh from the tigelliera with garlic and rosemary infused pork lard.
Maranello is the home town of Ferrari, and contains a museum that houses many of the iconic cars from their long history.
Nearby is Modena, a city famous for balsamic vinegar. The town hall produces its own vinegar in the Acetaia Comunale just off the Piazza Grande. While you’re there, take in the views from on top of the Torre della Ghirlandina, or visit the Duomo di Modena.
Travelling slightly further is Bologna, a city full of historic buildings and interesting architecture. Enjoy the views from the Basilica di San Petronio on Piazza Maggiore, and see the traditional red tiled rooftops.
Elsewhere
Further afield is Milan to the north in the region of Lombardy, or to the south are the rolling hills of Tuscany.
